The journal Rossiiskaya Arkheologiya is not only an academic journal, but also an important platform dedicated to promoting scientific discussion and practice in the field of archaeology. The journal actively participates in discussions among scientists on the organization of archaeological work, including but not limited to the planning, implementation, funding and training of archaeological projects. Through these discussions, the journal aims to provide more effective organization and implementation strategies for archaeological research, ensuring that archaeological work can be carried out smoothly.

In addition, the journal is active in drafting and promoting legislation for the protection of Russia's archaeological heritage. This involves developing and improving relevant laws and policies to ensure the effective protection and rational use of archaeological sites and artefacts. Through these legislative activities, the journal hopes to provide stronger legal safeguards for Russia's archaeological heritage, preventing illegal excavations and the loss of artifacts.
